Its been a while..
I found this awesome bean bag chair that is just one of the coolest things I have ever seen for kids. not only is it for storage but its is also functional . http://booninc.com/products/OttoAnimalBag
It has mesh openings that zip open to put stuffed animals in so not only is it good for storing all of those endless piles of stuffed animals and such but it also makes a cool seat for the kids to play with....
On another note I haven't fallen off of my craft bandwagon. well maybe i have but it was just a break and took a rest from all of my craftiness...
i started to work on a patchwork curtain for A's room. the fabric i used is from Heather ross called mendocino. its got pretty little mermaids and seahorses and octopuses and fish on it. i saw it and knew just what to do with it. in fact it has made me question whether or not I will make A's quilt with the same fabric i already have cut out and partially peiced together. Here are the differences in the fabrics.Im just crazy over the mermaids. It just looks like such fun fabric to have in a little girls room... eventually i'll get to T's room will be much more boyish and it will be something he can grow with.... too bad there arent so many options with boys.. I was thinking a robot theme for T.
The above fabric is from David walker.
This fabric is called Bot camp from Micheal miller. I think I like this one the best but it will be determined by T. He may not even want robots but my guess is that he will b/c hes really into space and science stuff..
enough on that stuff now....

My fabric yo-yos
Matchbook notebooks
you can also see the owl stamp that I made. I looked at michaels and acmoore for some cute owl stamps and small ones that size were 10-15 dollars so I decided to make one..

Introducing Herman
I have decided to try to include my “pet” owl Herman in every picture I take for this blog. He will be my mascot per se. so keep an eye out… maybe when I get going good with this blog I’ll make a contest or something out of finding him… anyway I doubt anyone is even really reading this as of yet so no time soon.. I’m excited though about my venture with craft blogging… I don’t remember if I said this in the previous blog but I have really enjoyed checking out other blogs and I hope that one day my blog will be an inspiration to someone else…
oh yea and before I forget here is Herman…
Isn’t he a cutie!!! He usually sits in my car but my dd brought him inside and I thought it might be funny to include him in my blog since I love owls…
Hoot Hoot
